Our T61 Motor Glider

The T61 Venture is a motor glider used in many training roles.
Pupils can experience their first training flights, with the advantage of longer first flights.
It simulates glider flight because it is possible to switch off the engine in flight and re start if necessary
Its primary use is to train pilots who want to fly cross country flights the art of
- Field selection
- Approach and landing in an unfamiliar field

One of its popular uses ,for suitably qualified, pilots is to be able to carry out flights with friends to other airfields or gliding clubs or even away for a long weekend
