Our Astir Glider

The Astir is an intermediate solo glider with a glide performance of 32 to 1.This means that from a mile high (5280 ft.) You can glide a distance of 32 miles in still air.
It is of all fibre glass construction and is used by the more experience pilots for cross country and loacl soaring.
Many pilots use this as an intermediate stage whilst choosing a glider of their own, however there is no pressure for you to buy a glider and some members prefer to stay flying club aircraft.
